We are seeking a dedicated Foreign Worker Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the seamless integration of Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs) into our workforce. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary range of $23.00 to $25.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:
LMIA Application Support: Assist in LMIA applications and maintain meticulous records and application documents to ensure compliance with Labour Market Impact Assessments.
Recruitment Collaboration: Collaborate with external recruiting and immigration consulting agencies to fulfill our current and future manpower needs in alignment with our standards.
Worker Mobilization Coordination: Coordinate the mobilization of Temporary Foreign Workers, overseeing deployment dates and facilitating their entry into Canada.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a primary liaison with external stakeholders, addressing queries, providing updates, and facilitating necessary modifications related to the TFW program.
Logistical Support: Arrange transportation and accommodations for TFWs as required to ensure a smooth transition upon their arrival.
Onboarding Assistance: Assist in enrolling TFWs in essential services such as medical insurance, MSP, bank services, and social insurance upon their arrival in Canada.
Compliance Maintenance: Maintain accurate employee personnel files and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements to uphold standards and safety regulations.
Housing Inspections: Conduct periodic home and housing inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Communication and Support: Clearly communicate job duties and expectations to foreign workers, addressing any concerns or questions through regular meetings and providing translation services as needed.
Record Management: Utilize our Proteus system to manage employee records, ensuring accuracy for payroll processing and compliance purposes.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned or directed to support the smooth functioning of the TFW program and overall organizational objectives.
